minimum age for this group is Year 4 in Primary school.
JUST
DRAW! A series of 4 after school drawing workshops on Fridays from
4 till 5.15. Fun,
experimental, workshops that will focus on Just Drawing. We will
explore different approaches to drawing every week, sometimes in
the studio or outside when it is fine.The aim is to build skills
and confidence in observational drawing, so when the children go
into paint, they are not let down by their drawing. Work will be
based on OBSERVATION.

PAINTING WORKSHOPS (SUNDAY)
£14.00
per session, bring your own acrylics if you have them. Don't worry
if you haven't; you can use studio acrylics for £1.00.
What
happens? This year I will run 6 workshops for primary school
age artists in year 4 or above. The focus is on developing painting
and drawing skills. Children are encouraged to really look and see
in order to develop their perceptual skills rather than painting
stereotypical images. The max group size is 12 children. All Budding
Artists need to be able to follow instructions independently while
individual teaching in the round is going on; they should also be
willing to help tidy up at the end of the session. Bookings are
taken from the Monday before the workshop only on a first come first
serve basis.

These workshops are for artists who are in years 1,2,3 in primary
school, . The workshops are fun and are mostly based on craft and
making skills. We will try to work outside in the woods during the
summer.For children who want to be creative and are happy to get
messy, work in groups and try out different artistic processes.
Always wear old clothes, assume you will get messy and always bring
a packed lunch for 12.15.
