A Splash of Colour: For a group with little or no experience. Start with charcoal drawings to losen up and break the ice, then move onto painting.

Working with one simple colour theory rule, you can produce a painting that will look good! The focus will be on using colour to get an object to sit on a surface and not float off. The medium will be acrylic or oil paints, which are a joy to explore. Most people will create a finished painting that always look surprisingly good! Costs: £540 per day for up to 10 people includes all materials.

LIFE DRAWING: Dribble and Scribble or Charcoal:

Working from the nude Focussing on just line, we will go through some lively exercises aiming to loosen you up and free inhibitions. These exercises are fun, and involve pair work and even trust! Towards the end of the morning we will work with ink and long sticks in order to produce fluid drawings that are nearly always stunning!
Because the poses are rapid and the morning is fluid, no one gets stuck or starts to plod, there really isn’t time.

Charcoal:Life drawing in Charcoal where the focus is on form and getting a sense of solidity. This also involves team and pair work, as well as working fairly quickly.

Costs: £590 per day for up to 10 people includes all materials.

Lunch/Refreshments: £10.00 per head (suggested menu: vegetarian quiche, lots of mixed salad and fruit from local Deli. Teas/coffees/biscuits)
